ABOUT GILLY
Gilly the Clown (aka Guilford Adams) has been a professional clown for the past twenty years. He has performed for over seventy thousand kids at over four thousand birthday parties and events around the greater Los Angeles area. Gilly is a skilled performer who juggles, performs hat tricks, plays guitar, and includes the staples of any birthday performer: Magic, balloon animals, fun games and face painting.
Guilford Adams is also a professional actor/clown/filmmaker who has acted in over a hundred film and television shows both as a clown and an actor. Guilford has also performed in an equal amount of commercials over his twenty five year career. He is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and just co-directed his first full length documentary American Clown which premiered at Dances with Films n Hollywood in 2025 and is available now on Amazon, Apple TV and YouTube.

In addition to being Gilly the Clown and the Chief Executive Clown of the Los Angeles Clown Company, Guilford Adams is a SAG-AFTRA actor. Other the past three decades he has been in a hundred film and television projects and an equal number of commercials.
Most notable appearances include: The Morning Show, Lucifer, Monster, Modern Family, Parenthood, Glee, and the Eric Andre Show.
And commercial wise he has sold everything from Carls Jr, Tide, Cascade, Daisy Sour Cream, DirectTV and has been featured in several commercial campaigns most notably with Spectrum and Heinz.
Guilford can also be seen as one of the leads in the soon to be released feature film “Better Than a Shovel”
